Job Description – Junior Sous Chef
As Junior Sous Chef you will assist in planning, directing, controlling and coordinating of the kitchen activities of all the Cooks, Pantry staff and Kitchen Stewards to ensure efficient and smooth food services.
- Maintaining the entire kitchen operation
- Preparing hot and cold dishes and executing request based on required specifications
- Assisting in the planning and developments menus and recipes
- Supervising, training and developing staffs and ensuring consistency in work performance
- Ensure quality control and presentation of the foods
- Ensuring proper handling and storage of all food item in accordance with the company standard and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a planned food cost
- Assist in cleaning duties
- Assisting sous chef
Requirement:
- Preferably with Food Hygiene Audit Cert (WSQ)
- Basic Food Hygiene Cert (WSQ)
- 3-5 years related experience
- Can commerce work soonest or short notice period
